Joe Schilling Pre-Fight Interview: “He Won’t Last a Round”
October 13th, 2012 by

LAS VEGAS - Tonight’s main event fighter Joe Schilling, WBC Interim World Champion gave a fight prediction to media cameras yesterday following Lion Fight 7′s official weigh-ins. “He won’t last a round,” says Schilling, of his opponent Eddie Walker.
Schilling heads into the ring a fan favorite but Eddie Walker still poses a threat to the highly popular Muay Thai who trains out of the Yard gym and represents the Can’t Stop Crazy brand and some of the best stand-up fighters in the game.
“Training went really really well for this fight, I got some great training from the Can’t Stop Crazy team at the Yard,” said Schilling. “This was the easiest weight cut of my life. I’m smiling and happy and ready to fight.”
Although he gives a strong prediction for the main event, he is still not looking past Walker. “Because of Eddie’s record and because of his experience he shouldn’t beat me…his last fight was not impressive. I trained really hard for this fight. Eddie asked for this, he asked me directly for it…be careful what you ask for.”
Schilling takes the ring tonight as the featured main event versus Walker live inside the Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas. Doors open at 4:00 p.m; first bout is at 5:00 p.m. PT. Tickets are available at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Box Office and through Ticketmaster.com.
