- Lion Fight Promotions today confirmed that Rob Kaman will attend Lion Fight 7 tomorrow night as a special guest, taking in the live action of the full Muay Thai rules fights including the WBC title fight between Anthony Castrejon and Andy Singh, the International WBC title fight between Jeri Sitzes and Tiffany Van Soest as well as the main event matchup between WBC Interim World Champion Joe Schilling vs. Eddie Walker.

Kaman was born in Amsterdam and started training in martial arts in 1976 with Roy Martina in Penchak Silat, an Indonesian Martial Art, until he discovered Muay Thai. He took lessons from the great Muay Thai teacher Jan Plas. He soon became the most feared fighter of his era, specifically for his devastating low kicks, which he used offensively along with virtually every technique to rack up his incredible streak of wins.
Today, Kaman is respected in fighting circles as a coach of many of mixed martial arts’ elite fighters including MMA’s elite fighters BJ Penn, Brandon Vera, Hermes Franca, Heath Herring, Jason Miller and Babalu Sobral as well as a number of top European fighters.
